Backend Engineer

💻 Remote eligible 2-4 years

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend infrastructure and APIs.

• Write high-quality code that is robust, readable and scales.

• Possess the drive to dive deep. thrive and progress even in ambiguous situations.

• Encourage and support knowledge sharing within teams and external groups.

• Troubleshoot & debug applications.

• Adopt problem-solving as a way of life - always go to the root cause.

• Collaborate with the team to discuss and implement ideas.

• Build responsive, robust and optimized applications.

Preferred candidate should have:

• Passion about building backend systems.

• Desire to explore new ideas, open to other ideas as well.

• Love for writing clean, beautiful, readable and testable code.

• Experience in designing extensible DRY code.

• Our stack is based on Django, Python3 Celery, Angular and Postgres.

• We expect you to have a good understanding of Python. It's even better if you are familiar with some of Git. Django, Celery, Redis and Unix Shell.

Frontend Engineer

💻 Remote eligible 2-4 years

Roles and responsibilities:

• Work closely with the design and backend team to build and develop web applications for our forward thinking products.

• Design large scale systems with high complexity to support our high throughput applications.

• Understand how to leverage infrastructure for solving such large scale problems.

• Develop tools and contribute to open source wherever possible.

• Adopt problem solving as a way of life - always go to the root cause.

• Develop scalable front end engineering, for the largest FinTech companies in India who use our product.

• Actively think about improving UX & UI.

• Collaborate with the team to discuss and implement ideas.

• Build responsive, robust and optimized applications.

Preferred candidate should have:

• Professional development experience with Angular 10 (1-2 Years)

• Strong eye for design, UI, and UX

• Passion for frontend development

• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

Integration Engineer

💻 Remote eligible 1-3 years

Roles and responsibilities:

• Understand and explain APIs to clients.

• Help clients integrate OneFin APIs.

• Research and identify solutions to issues during integration.

• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers).

• Become a product expert for clients.

• Configure the OneFin system for customized usage by clients.

• Identify and write internal and external technical articles or knowledge-base entries, like typical troubleshooting steps, workarounds, or best practices, how-to guides etc.

• Automate the solution of common issues using Python.

• Help live clients resolve issues and coordinate with the development team for issue resolution.

Preferred candidate should have:

• BS/B.Tech. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in writing code in Python.

• Understanding of web based systems.

• Proficient in understanding and writing JSON.

• Experience in SQL databases.

• Experience working with REST APIs.
